Chesapeake & Ohio "Greenbrier" #614 4-8-4 Type J-3a Built by LIma 1948 The #614 is privately owned and stored in Port Clinton, Pennsylvania. The #614 was the last mainline passenger locomotive built in the US and was only in service on the C&O for 5 years. After being stored by the C&O for 20 years, it was donated to the B&O RR Museum. The Museum traded it for another locomotive to Ross Rowland who restored and operated it in the 1980's. Stoddart's artwork starts with a CAD model built from photos. To create the 3-D effect, the CAD model is broken into layers and many individual parts - which are precision cut using laser machines. Our artwork is available in two different sizes both sharing the same level of detail. Our large Wall Art is impressive - its 3-D detail is constructed of layers of painted wood composite material. It hangs easily from a nail or screw on your wall. Our Shadowboxes are an elegant way to display artwork along with the famous railroad logo. Shadowbox models are made using acid-free matboard and are available in either black or cherry frames.
