Pennsylvania "K-4" #1361. 4-6-2 Type K-4 Built by Juniata Shops 1918. The #1361, Pennsylvania's State Steam Locomotive, PA is currently dismantled and waiting for completion of restoration by the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona, Pa. #1361 was one of 425 "K-4" locomotives which powered Pennsylvania's passenger trains. #1361 was originally placed on display in "Horseshoe Curve" near Altoona, but was removed and operated in the late ,80,s. Stoddart's artwork starts with a CAD model built from photos. To create the 3-D effect, the CAD model is broken into layers and many individual parts - which are precision cut using laser machines. Our artwork is available in two different sizes both sharing the same level of detail. Our large Wall Art is impressive - its 3-D detail is constructed of layers of painted wood composite material. It hangs easily from a nail or screw on your wall. Our Shadowboxes are an elegant way to display artwork along with the famous railroad logo. Shadowbox models are made using acid-free matboard and are available in either black or cherry frames.
